Toronto has more dedicated bouldering gyms than any other city in Ontario. Here are the standouts for 2026.
Hogtown Boulders (Don Mills)
12,000+ sq ft of climbing with the most training boards in the city: Tension Board 2, Kilter Board, MoonBoard 2024, spray wall, and campus board. Problems range from V0 to V17. The gym is pet-friendly, has free parking, and stays open until 11 PM daily. If you are serious about training, this is the spot.
Day pass: $30
Boulderz Etobicoke (The Big Gym)
The largest Boulderz location at 28,000 sq ft. This is not bouldering-only. It also has 150+ rope climbs and 14 auto-belays. But the bouldering section alone, with 120+ problems, a MoonBoard, Kilter Board, and spray wall, is among the biggest in the GTA. Good for climbers who want options.
Day pass: $28
Ethos Climbing (Waterfront)
Toronto's newest bouldering gym, opened May 2025 in the Daniels Waterfront building on Queens Quay. Glass-walled with Lake Ontario views. A Kilter Board, coffee bar, and weekly resets. The day pass includes shoe rental. The vibe is more social club than traditional gym.
Day pass: $35
Basecamp Climbing Queen West
Bouldering-only in a converted cinema basement near Queen and Spadina. 100+ problems, a MoonBoard, and a training area. Popular with students and beginners. The converted cinema space gives it a unique feel you will not find elsewhere.
Day pass: $28
Boulder Parc (Scarborough)
Scarborough's first bouldering gym. Spray wall, Tension Board, campus board, plus a cafe with espresso and Vietnamese coffee. The space doubles as a community hub with co-working desks and yoga. If you are east of the Don Valley, this is your closest option.
Day pass: $25
Rock On Climbing (Canary District)
The smallest gym on this list. 15 ft walls, limited staffed hours (weekday evenings and weekends). What sets it apart: 24-hour member access. If you want to climb at 6 AM or midnight, this is the only option in Toronto that allows it.
Day pass: $24
Kong Climbing (North York)
Not bouldering-only, but the bouldering area is solid with 100+ problems. Also has 20+ auto-belay routes, making it good for solo climbers. Pet-friendly with free parking and open late. Beginner-friendly atmosphere.
Day pass: $28
